Our Mission:
Our mission is to create a positive change in the lives of street children through various charitable initiatives including but not limited to education, health and wellness, sustainability programs and values formation. The SSCFI also works with the street children’s families to ensure that the change will not only bring about a positive impact but also create a consistent and sustainable way of life for them.
Education – Education is the key to unleash the potential of the children, yet many children around the globe do not get the education that they need. By cultivating literacy and creating scholarships to put the children to school, we aim to equip them with the power to become decent and functional members of the society. Teaching them as well the right values that will serve as their moral compass.
Health and Wellness – we engage in various outreach programs which aims to provide sustenance physically as well as emotionally and mentally. We help fight malnutrition and teach them proper care of their bodies.
Reunification– We help get the children off the streets where they are most vulnerable to exploitation and if possible, reuniting them with their families. We provide assistance and counselling to ensure that the child is nurtured at home preventing the recurrence of running away.
Our Vision:
Our vision is a world where kids are loved, protected, cared for, afforded education, has access to clean water, food and clothing and a life free from abuse and exploitation. Our organization hopes to act as a catalyst that will inspire the society and the future generations to extend compassion to these less-fortunate children as well as their families.
